The auxiliary is a group of warm-hearted dedicated volunteers whose generosity of both time and fundraising efforts enables the residents to experience an enhanced quality of life.
As a group they enjoy camaraderie and fun while raising money to support enriched programs like music therapy, pastoral care, dental and horticulture as well as interior renovation.
Auxiliary members come together to support the Lodge in creating a home-like environment all year round with seasonal offerings that help the staff to truly provide a caring living space.
Auxiliary events
Known for a wide range of successful fundraising and community building ventures, the auxiliary runs a range of events such as:
- monthly Nu-2-You Clothing Boutique (consignment clothes, shoes & jewelry),
- book sales,
- annual plant sale,
- their famous 'Cruise In' concession stand
- Bulk food sales
- The Langley Lodge annual inter-generational resident and family pig roast!
The auxiliary is always looking for new ways to generate volunteer support and effective fundraising opportunities in support of the Lodge. So whether you have two hours or more to spare a month or wish to participate in our seasonal fundraisers we would love to have you join the auxiliary team.
