Langley Lodge — a not-for-profit, accredited seniors care facility, committed to addressing the needs of each person in our care — has been an integral, and much appreciated, part of the community since the early 1970s.

Complex Care
The provincial government has mandated that all Seniors Care homes must be prepared to admit the frailest and most dependent of our seniors, many of whom have underlying medical conditions that require specialized, chronic care, known as “Complex Care.”
Today, many seniors in the community, and an increasing number of our residents, have complex needs. Langley Lodge is now challenged to accommodate these men and women with facilities specifically designed to serve the medical and therapeutic needs of this rapidly growing population.
Langley Lodge Residential Care Facility
The Langley Care Society, which operates Langley Lodge care home, has approved a comprehensive and exciting plan to renovate, redevelop and expand our existing caring environment. Our goal is to transform Langley Lodge into an outstanding Residential Care facility, able to meet and surpass the needs and expectations of a changing senior population, now and into the future.
The refurbished and expanded Langley Lodge will provide the City and Township of Langley and the Fraser Valley with a beautiful care residence that is modern and highly functional yet warm and homelike, providing many important, extra services to further enhance the living environment for our residents.
The cost of this crucial project is estimated at just over $28 million. The Langley Care Society has launched an annual fundraising campaign to raise funds which will help cover the cost of facility improvements and maintain the important programs that enhance the quality of life of our residents. With these plans, we are reaffirming our resolve to make Langley Lodge a uniquely fulfilling place to live.

The Caring for the Past...Building for the Future annual campaign will enable us to pay down our mortgage and invest the interest savings in our core services. Caring community support allows us to offer core seniors care services and programs such as: physiotherapy, occupational therapy, pastoral care, dental hygiene, horticulture, pet visits, bus trips, music therapy and art therapy.
